Based in New York City, photographer Meg Laubscher has worked for various clients in the fashion, events and marketing worlds, both in her current home, Manhattan and in her native South Africa.

She recently earned her master of Professional Studies in Digital Photography from the city's prestigious School of Visual Arts, adding state-of-the-art capture and printing skills to her background in business.

Laubscher's latest personal body of work focuses on issues such as Western culture's female stereotypes and blurring of boundaries between childhood and maturity, as well as another body of work that consists of black and white  street portraiture, both works that have been exhibited in New York City galleries.
